[Paris Essentials] Orangerie Museum Ticket Purchase / Reservation / Admission Information A to Z
The Orangerie Museum is a place where you can appreciate Monet's 'Water Lilies' in a space filled with natural light.
It is a representative art museum in Paris.
There are various exhibitions prepared, including not only Impressionist works but also Renoir and Cezanne .
It is a perfect place for your travel itinerary as it is within walking distance from the Louvre.
As this is a must-see attraction during your trip, it is recommended to purchase your admission tickets in advance.
Now, I will explain step by step how to reserve tickets for the Orangery.
⭐ 1. Access the official website
First, please visit the official Orangery website below !
You can set the language in the upper right corner, please set it to EN !
🎫 2. Select ticket type
There are currently five ticket purchase options available.
In order, general admission ticket, free admission on the first Sunday of every month, audio guide (rental for a fee),
English guided tour program, admission ticket for group reservations only.
Let me explain about the most popular general admission tickets ( Entrance tickets) !

After clicking on the ticket and scrolling down, you will see the screen below.
To give you further explanation on each fee,
Musée de l'Orangerie - Full price (12,50 €)
👉 This is the standard adult fare . Those who do not qualify for special discounts must purchase this ticket.
Musée de l'Orangerie - "Enfant & Cie" rate for 1 adult accompanying a child under 18 (10,00 €) 👉 You can think of it as " child accompanying rate ".
Discounted rate (10 euros) for one adult accompanying a child under 18 years of age.
In other words, this is a ticket that an adult can receive when entering with a child.
Musée de l'Orangerie - Free of charge Reservation (0,00 €)
👉 Free admission for those eligible (e.g. under 18 years old, EU residents under 26 years old, holders of certain qualifications , etc.)
This is the option you choose when you make a reservation online in advance.
Late opening rate on Fridays (10,00 €)
👉 This is a special rate that applies when entering during opening hours on Friday nights .
Art museums are usually open late into the evening on certain days of the week, and often sell discounted tickets during those times.
Late opening on Friday - Free reservation (0,00 €)
👉 This is an option for those eligible for free admission during Friday night opening hours to make a reservation.

Click on I book at the bottom right to go to the next page.

🗓 4. Select date and time
Please select a date and time.
The museum opens daily at 9:00 AM and closes at 5:45 PM .
(Closing early at 4:45 PM on December 24th and 31st)

Please note that we are closed every Tuesday, May 1st, and December 25th.
Sold out on the date , Full on the time, cannot be reserved !

Please create an account by referring to the picture below.
Red text is required, purple text is optional.
Please note that all of the following conditions must be met when setting a password.

💳 6. Proceed with payment
Now that you've created an account, it's time to make your final payment .
Check the Agree button and click the I valid button.
After selecting the card type , just enter your card information !
Once payment is complete, an email will be sent to the email address you provided when signing up !
