How to Shop at Venice's Noventa Outlet: Local Savings
Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet
Shopping is another unmissable pleasure while traveling.
Italy, especially, is the birthplace of luxury brands, so you'll want to visit an outlet mall at least once. Many people think of The Mall in Florence first, but did you know there's also a great outlet mall near Venice?
It is the Noventa di Piave Designer Outlet .
Why recommend Noventa Outlet?
The Noventa Outlet is large and offers a diverse selection of brands, but its biggest advantage is its relatively relaxed atmosphere, unlike The Mall. The Mall in Florence is so popular that lines are often long and the stores are often hectic. In contrast, Noventa offers a much more relaxed and comfortable shopping environment, despite housing the same luxury brands.
This is precisely why I prefer Noventa over The Mall. Shopping should be fun, but if it's too crowded, it can be tiring.
What brands are there?
Noventa Outlet carries a wide range of luxury brands such as Gucci, Prada, Bottega Veneta, Burberry, Fendi, Jil Sander, and Jimmy Choo, as well as casual brands such as Nike, Adidas, The North Face, and Timberland.
Thanks to this, you can not only snag luxury items but also find affordable everyday items. Families traveling together are especially satisfied, as everyone, regardless of gender or age, can enjoy the experience together.
Transportation – Bus vs. Train + Taxi
Another great thing about Noventa Outlet is that it's the only outlet in Venice accessible by public transportation.
•
Bus: There are dedicated shuttle buses departing from Piazzale Roma and Mestre train stations on the main island of Venice. The schedule varies by season, so be sure to check the outlet's official website before you go!
•
Train + Taxi: Another convenient option is to get off at San Dona di Piave Station, which is about 30 minutes from Venice Santa Lucia Station. Then, take a taxi (approximately €15, 10-15 minutes). When returning from the outlet, simply ask the information desk to call a taxi for you.
If you prioritize time and comfort, a taxi combination might be more suitable, while a bus might be more suitable if you want to travel cheaply.
Is there a Moncler outlet?
Moncler enthusiasts might also consider the Moncler-only outlet located a bit further away. However, its location is somewhat awkward, requiring a rental car or expensive taxi ride. However, since it's located next to the official factory, the prices are definitely competitive. Popular designs or sizes may not be available, but there's a definite chance of finding a bargain.
In particular, it is great for light shopping as it has a good selection of not only padding but also hats, t-shirts, and accessories.
